The Trans Pacific Partnership was initially floated as a "Trade Bill". It is in fact more a stepping stone towards a legal framework of control for member nations related to Commerce.
The US FED was established to allow people beyond the US Government to control issuing of currency. The TPP is being established to allow people beyond the US government to control a crap load of Commercial, Consumer and Criminal Laws for all member countries. It is a step towards the Legal/Poltical Component for a New World Order for a portion of the globe.
