Banking - The FED
Topic : The United States Federal Reserve -- aka The FED
Basic Information
The FED was created by an Act of Congress in 1913. The FED is an organization in the United States that oversees the printing and distribution of currency for the United States Government. While the name "The United States Federal Reserve" sounds federal and sounds like they have reserves, neither of those implied conditions are true. The FED is a Private Corporation owned by private interests and the US Government and the People of the United states have very limited audit power over this organization. Flawed societal control theory states you do not the management of your currency within the control of the government servants as it could lead to political battles. Experience and reality show that if/when a government does not control their own currency, the entire country is in fact ultimately controlled by those that print and issue the money !?! (and yes, it is that bad).
One could spend months on the FED, but 3-10 hours would make you amazingly knowledgeable.
